Put simply Human trafficking can be defined like this:
Trafficking in people is the
illegal movement of people for the purposes of exploitation. This may take the form
of commercial sex, domestic service or manual labour.
It is modern-day SLAVERY.
Human Trafficking is a global issue of great concern. The Salvation Army is responding to this issue internationally in a variety of ways. We passionately believe that this injustice must be stopped and are actively campaigning, fundraising and praying to see this evil stopped.
